The Pyle PP999 works as advertised and is easily 5 stars. It was easy to connect my old Technics SL1700 to my STR-DG820. I did not need to connect the ground wire from the turntable as there was no static problem like others have reported nor was there a problem with low volume. Very pleased with the price and performance of the PP999.

Easy peasy set up. Just take it out of the packaging, plug your TT's RCA cables into the 999's input, then plug the RCA cables you are going to plug into your stereo, into the 999's output, and you are ready to start playing your records! Can't get much simpler than that!
No hum, at all, too!!!
Well chuffed, over this purchase!

This is working great. No hum and the turntable sounds great. I got this because I like to stay with same brand when things are connected together. It is small and does as it says. I used screw on side of case to ground turntable and it is working great.
