The product seems to work fine (is plenty loud and VERY, VERY light with the rechargeable battery installed!) with the following quirks:
1) When depressing the trigger, sometimes there is a delay (about a second or so) to when voice amplification begins. Not a big deal. I can work with it as there is no delay when using the mic.
2) When using the 10 second recording function on playback, sometimes the unit plays back slowly, then plays back twice as fast. It's fun/funny, but it seems to be random.
3) When using the 10 second recording function on playback, the unit picks up when I pull the trigger (two loud pops)during the recording. Not sure if there is something I'm doing incorrectly. Will play with it.

WOW. What power! We had a smaller version that we bought at a local sports store that was totally unreliable. I was apprehensive about purchasing a new Megaphone without trying it out first. When it arrived, I was blown away, literally, by the power of this megaphone. If you are doing a large outdoor event this is what you need!
