The PYD2300U is a powerful, 5-channel rack mountable mixer that's a welcome addition to any large DJ setup - and now you can connect to your laptop or desktop via USB for digital, distortion-free input and output. This mixer is equipped 8 RCA line inputs - 5 stereo inputs, 2 of which can be used for phono inputs, and 2 mic inputs (one balanced XLR/1/4' combo with high and low rotary EQ, one ¼' jack). The USB jack allows you to connect to your PC or Mac, so you can use computer DJ software to play back or record your mix. A talkover switch easily allows you to play music and hear the MC's voice at the same time. Each channel has a 3 band rotary EQ, rotary gain, volume slider, and LED level readout, including the master output channel. Cue buttons above each channel allow you to preview parts of your mix through headphones or the booth output before you play it for the audience. Outputs include a ¼' headphone jack, an RCA booth output so you can hear your mix in while DJing, and the 2 master outputs: one pair of stereo RCA jacks, one pair of XLR jacks for balanced output to an amplifier or receiver. The assignable crossfader lets you move smoothly between any 2 input channels of your choice. Dual VU meter indicates the levels of the left and right master channels, so you'll know if your mix is too loud, too quiet, or just right. The PYD2300U runs on both 110 and 220 V.
